Cirkus Columbia plot
A small village in the south of Herzegovina, just after the war. After years of communist regime, a new democratic government is elected and this means that all the sinners of the previous regime are suddenly forgiven. This is the sign for Divko Buntic to return home and mount a series of petty acts of revenge after years of exile. He comes home with a woman 40 years his junior, a new Mercedes, a black cat and tons of money. As the first successful act of revenge, he throws his ex-wife and son out of the house they used to live in. It seems for a while that Divko is winning and that you can really achieve anything with money. But then life catches up with him. The black cat, his greatest pride and talisman, disappears one night...
