Carl von Ossietzky plot

1927 Carl von Ossietzky takes over the management of the cultural weekly 'Die Weltbühne' as publisher and editor with the cooperation of Kurt Tucholsky. During the internationally followed 'Weltbühne trial' of 1931, Ossietzky was convicted of espionage because he drew attention in his magazine to the clandestine and prohibited rearmament of the army. He continues to fight against the activities of the Nazi party and is imprisoned in a concentration camp in 1933. After international protests in 1936, sick with tuberculosis, Ossietzky was admitted to a guarded sanatorium. He is awarded the 1935 Nobel Peace Prize with worldwide approval, which he was awarded retroactively in 1936. However, the Gestapo refuses to let him travel to receive the prize in Oslo.
