Camera Obscura plot

Ane is thirteen years old and blind. Her parents repeatedly force Ane to undergo surgery, while at the same time she must battle the ups and downs of her adolescence. As a result, she begins to wonder what beauty actually means. When she and her family are vacationing in a coastal town, feisty photographer Antonio appears in her life. He is her father's cousin, has traveled all over the world and eventually brings some life to the brewery. Ane not only experiences her first love this summer, she also gets to know the world of photography thanks to Antonio. But much to her parents' chagrin, she records their daily lives, including their secrets, on camera.
