Bye Bye Blackbird plot
London, circa 1900. Josef and Peter have the perilous job of bridge builders, high above the city. One day Josef turns to ask his friend something... but he is no longer there. After Peter's funeral, Josef, grieving for his friend, tries to put his life behind him and finds new work at a circus, performing dangerous tricks. He also falls in love with the trapeze queen Alice.
