Very nice.

Mysterious, stylish, and a kidman in shape. The plot and, above all, the accompanying denouement could be predicted early on, but even after that, the film still retains something of mystique about it. The music is often beautiful (especially the piano music), the locations atmospheric. In all its elegance, the film also radiates something dark, beautiful.

Kidman and the mentally disturbed kid are great, the rest are not always so good. Some family members also seemed to me to be somewhat phlegmatic at such a bizarre event. But it didn't matter much. The highlight of Birth was undoubtedly the much-discussed close-up scene of Kidman.

Still an interesting director. Again such a doubtful case where I can hardly make the choice between 3.5 * and 4 *. But for now, just give it the benefit of the doubt.

Mysterious, gripping psychological drama film. Greatly played by the then about 11 year old Cameron Bright, it seems like a heavy role for that age...... Nicole Kidman plays well, especially that scene at the concert, the doubt on her face and the empty look in her eyes, that speaks for itself. Ultimately, it's up to the viewer whether he believes Sean or not. Anna gives in and devises a plan that will keep her and Sean together. Until Sean's confession after the release of the love letters........ The ending scene reflects that Anna is probably forever traumatized and can never completely forget her first husband........
