Being in Heaven plot

In a single moment, life can change forever. Jason Masterman is a young and successful New York stockbroker whose career comes to a bitter and humiliating end with the outbreak of a global financial crisis. He is awakened one morning to the sound of curators knocking on his door, instructing Jason to leave his house immediately and take only what he can carry. After losing everything, he retreats to the other side of the world, where his hometown of Sydney is located. There, he has a chance encounter with a mysterious man at a local restaurant. This encounter will change the way he lives forever. Awakened from a dream, Jason returns to New York with a fresh vision of the future and a newfound sense of purpose and direction for his life. But did his fall from grace really happen?
