Behold the Lamb plot

Liz, the girlfriend of the addict Joe, is also a drug-addicted woman who wants to visit her disabled son who is being raised by foster parents. Eddie, Joe's father, is a retired accountant struggling with his obesity and depression. Eddie tries to save Joe's life and demands that he accompany Liz on her journey. Along the way, the two find themselves in various situations where Eddie will have to pose as a drug smuggler. At one point they even own a lamb. During the journey, the two different characters grow closer and find that the mutual contact has a healing effect on their psyche.
