Beaches plot
"Some Friendships Last Forever"
When the goofy and up-and-coming artist CC Bloom and rich girl Hillary meet, it marks the start of a lifelong friendship. They keep in touch for many years through correspondence. And later, Hillary, now a successful lawyer, moves to New York to join CC who is struggling to get her career off the ground. Then the tables turn when CC does get her success, and Hillary becomes seriously ill.
