"It's another hot and sweaty summer in Brooklyn."
The story is about Quique, a Latino barber in a macho world, who is forced to confront his sexuality. A chance meeting on a basketball court creates an instant attraction between Quique and a handsome Irish stranger who is staying in town to manage his late father's affairs. As this friendship blossoms, so do suspicions about the nature of their relationship, especially before the jealous eye of a childhood friend who openly detests it.
