Bænken plot
"He has a life, he isn't proud of, and a past that he doesn't want to remember."
The proud Kaj, a former cook, finds out that he has wasted his life. He lives in a subsidized rented house. He regularly meets with his friends on a wooden bench in Copenhagen to catch up over a drink. Kaj's daughter has been out of touch with her father for nineteen years, but when she leaves her husband, father and daughter's paths cross again by chance. Kaj suddenly has a family again.
