As convincing as he portrays a Parkinson's patient in this film, it is unsurpassable. And so on, because that's not exactly the only thing - and without adding anything over the top or overacting. And nothing negative about the other actors, but they don't really come close. Or at least not in this movie, and even though I didn't see a lack of chemistry between Duncan and Kate like my upstairs neighbor did.

Furthermore, it is a pleasantly flowing story, where the main motif seems to be about when and what will make Duncan move. Quite beautifully told, a kind of coming of age for people in their thirties.

Drama-comedy with several beautiful scenes with main character Joshua Jackson and grandpa Sutherland on the one hand, and sweetheart Juliette Lewis on the other.

Although the film has the impression of being a bit of a muddle, there are still a lot of smooth and lifelike dialogues between the insecure, self-seeking and not so ambitious Duncan, especially his dejected, life-weary grandfather.

The film is mainly based on good acting.

Entertaining comedy-drama that moves along nicely. A little bit of overacting from Donald Sutherland. At some point it takes just a little too long.
