Au Pan Coupé plot
Jean and Jeanne are lovers. He is a rebel who cannot accept the world as it is, whereas she is more of a bourgeois type. One day, Jean quits his job and leaves Jeanne to join a group of beatniks. All that remains for Jeanne is the memories and the regret that she was unable to save this doomed soul.
