Atrás das Nuvens plot
One evening, just before going to bed, 9-year-old Paulo looks at old family photos. Something strange happens, in one of the photos his grandfather winks at him. Paulo never met his grandfather as his mother cut off contact with him after the death of his father, who died in a tragic accident on the night of Paulo's birth. Paulo decides to visit his grandfather during the summer holidays. His mother thinks he is at summer camp and grandfather thinks that Paulo's mother allows it. However, the old man turns out to have a strange hobby. He spends hours in an old Citroën DS in the yard. Paulo soon learns that the car has magical powers. The car can fly above the clouds, but also travel back in time, so that Paulo finds out what actually happened on the night of his birth.
