As You Desire Me plot
Zara is an alcoholic who works in a bar in Budapest. One day she meets the mysterious Tony Ferrara, who claims that she is actually Countess Maria Varelli, the wife of a friend of his, but has lost her memory during an invasion during the First World War. To her husband's chagrin, Ferrara takes her to Count Bruno Varelli, who lives in a large mansion in Italy.
