Apollonia plot

At the beginning of the 20th century in the rugged mountains of the Alps. After her mother's death, the eldest daughter Apollonia is in charge of the yard and the mill. Her calm beauty attracts the men. However, a love affair with a chaplain becomes a scandal in the village. The priest leaves her. Deeply disappointed, the pregnant Apollonia now finds herself in the turbulent times just before the First World War.
