"It took their son. Now it wants them."
Mallory and Frank's son is killed by a mysterious entity. Wherever the couple goes, they have to deal with the entity everywhere. In a desperate attempt to flee, they make their way to a cottage near a remote lake. While Mallory tries her best not to spin and save her marriage to Frank, the entity grows stronger and stronger. The couple enlist the help of Eleanor, a local psychic.
