Amiko plot
16-year-old Amiko is convinced that "the Japanese cannot dance spontaneously." She tried it herself, with a few strangers in an underground passage in Tokyo. She leaves the provincial town of Nagano to head to the capital and put her heartthrob Aomi to the test. A year earlier she took a long winter walk with him and thought she had met her soul mate, someone like her who wonders at what stage of life there is actually room to be happy. But then he disappeared, en route to Tokyo, along with Amiko's nemesis Miyako...
