Amerikana plot
Two friends, Peter and Chris, are in their late twenties. One is incredibly idealistic and optimistic, while the other is negative and cynical. They travel by Vespa from South Dakota to Los Angeles and see their country through different eyes. Chris has great expectations and romantic views of America. Peter only sees emptiness, lost ideals and ditto people. As they rediscover the identity of their country, they also learn more about themselves.
