American Warrior plot

An Indian-American immigrant and unprofessional MMA fighter has just been released from prison. A prodigal son, he's trying to get his life back on track and improve himself. During an unexpected encounter at a convenience store, he intervenes to prevent a robbery. This suddenly thrusts him into the uncomfortable media spotlight and hailed as a local hero. He finds himself in a local MMA tournament and, to win, must examine himself, confront his past mistakes, find personal redemption, and move on.
