American Pastime plot

Story about the dramatic impact World War II had on the home front when Japanese-American families were uprooted from their daily lives and placed in internment camps in the Western United States in the early 1940s. Faced with a country questioning their loyalty, and struggling with their newfound situation, they turn to baseball as a way to cope with their plight and find the strength to stand up for themselves as a true symbol of honor and pride.
