"Who is John Galt?"
The global economy is on the brink of collapse. Unemployment has risen to 24% and gasoline costs $42 a gallon. Brilliant people, from artists to industrialists, continue to mysteriously disappear. Dagny Taggart, vice president and responsible for operations at Taggart Transcontinental, may have the answer to the energy crisis. In the abandoned ruins of a once productive factory, he finds a miraculous engine that can seemingly power the world. But the engine is broken, and there is no one left to decipher his secret. A race against time ensues to find the engine's inventor before the 'world engine' stops for good.
