"Two lovers you'll never forget.....SHE a spy....knowing him to be her enemy. HE knowing her only as a woman..lovely, desirable...One Night of Ecstacy!"

During World War I, Carla Vanirska (Constance Bennett), aka Karen Schöntag, falls in love with Rudolph Ritter (Gilbert Roland), an Austrian army captain. However, Ritter has no idea that Carla is actually the Russian spy K-14. As Carla continues to pass classified information to her homeland and Ritter is ordered to arrest the spy, the relationship between the two continues to blossom.
