Adanggaman plot

West Africa, 17th century. One night the village of Ossei is looted and set on fire by the Amazons of the neighboring King Adanggaman. Many villagers are killed, others - including Ossei's mother - are captured. When he tries to free her, he himself is captured, chained and humiliated.
