Abseitsfalle plot

A city in the Ruhr area. Karin works in the human resources department of the washing machine manufacturer 'PERLA' and is waiting for a chance to get promoted. But they unexpectedly receive a cold and bitter message: 400 people will be fired, otherwise the factory will have to close. The announcement comes from the US parent company. dr. Kruger appoints Karen as the person responsible for those who are fired and thrown out. Through severance pay and transfers to other companies, employees are encouraged to leave voluntarily. Now Karin has her chance, but no choice. The factory must be saved, but act against its own colleagues? A difficult dilemma...
