A Zivot Jde Dál plot

On the coast of Yugoslavia, the fisherman Ivo Kralj, his wife Marie, their son Vuk and Ivo's mother live happily together in one house. Marie is also coveted by Nikola, Ivo's rival. During the First World War, Ivo is mobilized and later captured and put to work in a prisoner of war camp. At home, his family is told that Ivo has died. The years pass and Nikola visits the family every now and then and Ivo's mother urges Marie to remarry.
