Anna Baskin, in her early forties, is at a crossroads in her life. The Emmy Award-winning actress from a hit TV series is in an emotional and professional crisis: she is burned out and dependent on Ritalin and her overzealous assistant to get through the days. She decides to exchange Los Angeles for New York, where she hopes to reunite with her old drama group. But the reception after so many years is uncomfortable.
