A Pearl in the Forest plot

In the 1930s, Stalin's arm reaches all over Mongolia with his purges, causing terror and rift. In the village of Buryat lives the young and beautiful Sendem, who is coveted by Markhaa, a government informant who has just returned to the village. However, Sendem is already engaged to another man. However, Markhaa plans to use all the power he has to get what he wants: Sendem's heart.
