A Memória Que Me Contam plot

Former guerrilla fighter Ana, an icon of the left movement, is the last link between a group of friends who, along with their now grown sons, continue to resist the military dictatorship in Brazil. With the impending death of a friend, they meet again in the waiting room of a hospital. Among them is Irene, a film director, who feels lost in the agony of her best friend. Ana also has to deal with the arrest of her husband Paolo, who is accused of killing two people in Italy ten years ago.
