A Man to Remember plot
When a rural doctor dies, the entire village attends his funeral. However, the three richest men in the village think they still owe the man money. They receive a box left by the doctor. On the basis of the papers in that box, it is told why Dr Abbott never became rich, but was the most beloved man in the village.
