A Lost Lady plot
"the love idyll of the ages!"
Two days before Marian and Ned were to get married, Ned is murdered by the woman's husband Ned has had contact with. They advise Marian to keep calm and send her to the "Canadian Rockies". During a walk, she falls from a slope and twists her ankle. Marian is found and rescued by Dan Forrester and his dog Sandy. Despite Dan visiting her daily, Marian remains bitter. Then Marian asks to marry him and in the end she agrees. Back in Chicago, Dan gives his "perfect wife" a house in the countryside. Everything goes according to plan, until Marian meets Frank, the young owner of a transport company.
