A Light Never Goes Out plot

Introduced in the 1920s and boosted by the post-World War II economic boom, bright neon signs are not only a hallmark of Hong Kong's prosperity, they are also a vital part of its identity. In the last twenty years they have been removed and replaced with cheaper, more sustainable LED lighting. The widow of a Hong Kong neon sign artist is determined to follow in her husband's footsteps. She wants to go to great lengths to recreate a legendary neon sign that has been destroyed.
