"Sometimes in life you have to change lanes."
An elderly actor was once one of the stars of Hollywood, but now has to settle for a part in a small independent film. While researching a Latino neighborhood in Los Angeles, he meets a store clerk who rescues him from a predicament. Since his driver has also abandoned him, the actor and the shop assistant set out together through Los Angeles where they encounter all kinds of people and take a look at their own lives.

Two of my favorite actors in one movie, I had to see that. And I don't regret that. It looks like Morgan Freeman and Paz Vega are seizing the opportunity to hold some kind of acting competition. As far as I'm concerned, the result is undecided.
The story is not too much, but that is more than compensated by the sharp dialogues and the beautiful interpretations. Hilarious bit part by Kumar Pallana and a nice cameo at the end by the De Vito-Perlman couple.
Too bad the movie is so short.

Excellent film in which two people meet, spend some time together, and get to know each other. A simple starting point for a small, dialogue-driven film full of small meaningless and meaningful moments. Although his name is not mentioned, Morgan Freeman is actually playing himself. Paz Vega manages to hold his own against him and their interaction is a joy to watch. After review increased by 0.5 to a small 4.0 stars.
