Zentralasiens Kampf um Wasser plot

The Central Asian ex-Soviet states of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have been embroiled in conflict in recent years over the water resources in the area. The rash water policy during the Soviet era has caused an ecological disaster over the years, which threatens, among other things, to completely dry out the once imposing Aral Sea.
