Zaineb Takrahou Ethelj plot

Tunisian Zaineb is nine when her father is killed in a car accident. After the grief comes another shock. Her mother falls in love with an old flame who left for Canada at the time, got married there and is now divorced again. A new father? emigrate? Zaineb doesn't want to think about it. A year and a half later, it still happens. Tough Zaineb is suddenly in tears as she bids farewell to her classmates. In Canada, she shares a room with her new stepsister, who also doesn't know what to think. Kaouther Ben Hania, a cousin of Zaineb's mother, follows the events closely.
