In 1968, a young, high school dropout named George A. Romero directs "Night of the Living Dead." The low-budget horror film that shocked the world became a counterculture icon and spawned a zombie industry that, to this day, is worth billions of dollars. The documentary shows how Romero brings together an unlikely team of police officers, metal workers, educators, advertising executives, housewives and a roller-skating rink owner to create a guerrilla-style film that becomes a cinematic milestone.
