Yassine Gaat naar Syrië plot

Portrait of a country at war through the eyes of the young Moroccan photojournalist Yassine El Idrissi. He already followed the Syrian uprising via social media, but he wants more: he wants to know and experience what this war is about. What future do the fighters and inhabitants dream of? Yassine is not an objective spectator; as a young Arab and Muslim, he is eager to play a part in this important phase in Arab history. When he becomes friends with the Syrian Ilyas on Facebook, he decides to travel to Syria from the safety of Amsterdam to see what he can contribute.
