The Race That Shocked the World plot

The 100m race of the 1988 Olympics was the fastest ever. For the first time in history, four men ran under 10 seconds in one race. Ben Johnson set a fabulous new world record with 9.79 seconds. Less than 48 hours later, however, he was caught doping, giving his arch-rival Carl Lewis the gold medal. Six of the eight finalists were later linked to doping. This race still haunts the eight sprinters.
