The Lebanese Burger Mafia plot

This documentary captures the travails of Arab-Canadians manifesting themselves through Burger Baron – a nefarious fast food chain that operates as a dysfunctional mafia organization. To uncover the restaurant's mysterious origins, writer and director Omar Mouallem—heir to the Burger Baron throne—travels to these small-town diners. Along the way, he meets dozens of Lebanese families like his, who have uplifted their communities with the restaurant's secret recipes while feuding over the brand name rights of a company that none of them created.
