The Director: An Evolution in Three Acts plot

Documentary maker Christina Voros follows Frida Giannini, creative director at the world-famous fashion house Gucci, in her daily work. As a creative director, she essentially determines what happens at Gucci. Voros follows her in setting up the fashion show in Milan, only to repeat the same show a little later in Shanghai, China, the country from which Giannini expects a lot for the future. In the third part we see how Frida takes a look at the designs for a new collection. She determines whether a new design is mercilessly rejected or whether it can be seen in the next fashion show and what can be improved.
