Terug naar Huis plot

Tanja is sixteen years old and is admitted to De Jutters, a center for child and adolescent psychiatry, during a crisis. After nine months she goes back home, although she has not finished treatment and has recently taken a drug overdose. The documentary provides a critical insight into a new form of care for young people with a mental disorder. Tanja is followed for a year and a half in her struggle with her too intense feelings.
