O Termómetro de Galileu plot
The Portuguese filmmaker Teresa Villaverde spent a summer with the Italian cult director Tonino De Bernardi, who, among other things, filmed a version of Sofocles' Elektra with only fellow villagers in the lead role. She sits at the table when the family gathers in the garden, in the back of the car in the evening on the way home or listens to the stories of the woman from whom De Bernardi buys cheese and eggs. The director shows memories by looking at the now, at the faces and bodies and the house where the relatives live, and by listening to what is said and kept silent.
