Tantalum plot

A chunk of tantalum—better known as coltan, mined in eastern Congo—travels via military equipment to a Ghanaian landfill, and eventually into space. Along the way, we explore the connections to mythology, children, technology, and colonization in a critical reflection on political and economic systems.
