Nice documentary about American room elephants, daddy bags, fat bellies, colossi, fat lumps, meat cathedrals and somewhat corpulent fellow human beings. However, the interviews and the way of conducting research did not catch on at all and the little entertainment I could reap only came from the childish experiment. Eating broccoli for a whole month is of course not recommended, but I was already satisfied with the reaction of the crazy doctors and especially Morgan herself. Although things do seem very cheesy and therefore exaggerated in the end. And just blow, puff and complain. Rounded down thanks to the extremely cheap appearance.

Having heard about this documentary many times, I was also quite curious about it. McDonalds, if you eat it too often, is bad; we all know that. But how bad? This film manages to create a pretty good picture of that. The documentary contains some interesting facts about McDonalds and fast food. But the most interesting thing is following the challenge Morgan Spurlock takes on, where he can put his health in serious trouble. Eating fast food thirty days, three times a day a week is not nothing. It clearly shows what this can do to a person. A fairly heavy image to see a person deteriorate like that, but due to the good and fun editing and variation, this film is fine to sit out and the entire running time remains interesting.

Mediocre.
As most have said, there isn't much of a surprise in this documentary. Maybe some typical American things (like supersizing and school lunches) that still managed to surprise me. Also a few small passing facts (the jars of sugar are confronting) that add something. But the main part is of course not very good. And the doctors who are surprised at the results ... from a doctor you can perhaps expect something more?
The experiment isn't really that exciting, but it keeps the momentum going. I personally find it rather clumsy stuff, not more clumsy than the people who stuff themselves daily of their own accord, but that's Spurlock's right of course. In any case, it was a smart move, because it is this part that put the documentary on the map.
Furthermore, the documentary lacks some credibility and hard facts, it is all presented so smoothly and lightly that it does not exactly create a lot of confidence. Doesn't detract from the message, but that message would have been clear without this documentary. Only thing I don't understand is that Spurlock kept the court piece in it. Despite everything, that American suen is the most ridiculous thing there is. I am more of a supporter of personal responsibility.
Oh well, entertaining did do, a few little "ow" moments, but generally kicking open doors in an almost Jackass-esque way, but with an attempt to build some serious underlayment into it. And that last one didn't quite work out for me.
