Sue Perkins and the Chimp Sanctuary plot

After a recent amendment to US law, experiments on chimpanzees have finally come to an end after decades. Sue Perkins meets Jill, Whitney, Paula-Jean, Tessa, Martha and Ariah, who were transferred from a lab in New Mexico to the Chimp Haven refuge in Louisiana. Then Sue questions a representative of the government agency responsible for federal chimpanzee testing. Has sufficient progress been made in the medical field to justify the tests?
