Straight to You: Nick Cave - A Portrait plot

A portrait of singer and poet Nick Cave, who was born in 1957 in Wangarrata, Australia. As a teenager he dived into the underground and in 1977 formed a pop band called The Boys Next Door, who played hard, aggressive rock, based on the successes of mainly Iggy Pop. He appeared in films such as Der Himmel über Berlin by Wim Wenders (1987), Dandy by Peter Sempel (1988), Ghosts... of the Civil Dead by John Hillcoat (1988) and Johnny Suede by Tom DiCillo (1992). We see fragments from all these films.
