Sterben ohne Gott plot

Death, once an omnipresent part of life, has increasingly shifted to the realm of entertainment culture in modern society. Whether it is crime thrillers, horror films or action thrillers - we are looking for thrills and "controlled fear", while the real end of life is pushed out of our daily lives. But how do we deal with the inevitable fact of our own death? At a time when religious promises of solace have lost their meaning for many, modern people are faced with the challenge of dealing with the finiteness of life and the loss of loved ones. What answers do we find when death is no longer just a fiction, but suddenly becomes reality?
