The Pink Panthers are a gang from the Balkans known as the world's most successful jewel thieves. For this documentary, the makers have access to the gang and its members who give a glimpse into their network, history and the people behind it. We also see interviews with the police forces from all over the world that are tracking them down. Initially, the stories of and about the gang seem like a Hollywood story, but it soon becomes clear that behind this facade is a tough world of diamond trade that is parasitic on the ruins of the war in Yugoslavia.
