Síla Lidskosti - Nicholas Winton plot
In 1939, the young British stockbroker Nicholas Winton organized a total of seven train transports and one plane trip between 13 March and 2 August to take 669 children from Prague to Britain. Winton, then 29, suspected that these mostly Jewish-Czech children would be in danger if Nazi Germany came to power. Winton, who is also known as the British Schindler, has always kept silent about these rescues and it was only in 1988 that his wife discovered a diary in which the mission is described. Joe Schlesinger, the host of this documentary, was one of the rescued children himself.
