Sigmaringen, le Dernier Refuge plot

September 1944. On Hitler's orders, the Vichy government flees to Sigmaringen in Germany. The small town becomes the "capital" of France in exile. Convinced that Germany can still win the war, the French colony continued the struggle and collaboration for another eight months.
