Shield and Spear plot

A kaleidoscopic picture of the art climate in present-day South Africa. Shield & Spear is about an artist who finds himself in trouble after painting a caricature of President Jacob Zuma, a musician who created the character of an archetypal African dictator, a group of extravagant fashion designers in Soweto for whom their designs are an expression of freedom. being, a photographer who dedicates her life to portraying the LGTB community, one band from Johannesburg is very politically engaged, another stays away from anything political.
